This report examines the legal needs of the Inner Sydney region and the role four community legal centres (Inner City, Kingsford, Marrickville and Redfern) in meeting those needs.
This report uses a similar methodology of the previous edition of Law for All. It is a four-part methodology comprised of:
* identifying the key systemic barriers to access to the legal system and associated demographic indicators;
* Community profiling using these demographic indicators to establish trends in legal needs;
Examining expressed legal need measured by service statistics
* Identification of future legal needs, including the identification of any hidden and/or emerging communities in the area.

This report defines Inner Sydney region as catchment area covered by the four CLC's stretching from the southern metropolitan area of Sutherland and north to Hornsby, west to Canterbury and Bankstown, and all areas east. This is a large and heavily populated region. It should also be noted that the very large catchment area covered by the four CLCs is a direct result of the CLCs stretching their geographical catchment areas beyond their original boundaries, due to the absence of other similar legal services.
