| Summary, etc. | The National Legal Assistance Data Standards Manual gives best practice guidance to legal assistance service providers to facilitate the collection of consistent and comparable data. It is acknowledged that the transition to the collection of consistent and comparable data collection is an iterative process.<br/>This manual is relevant for all Commonwealth, state and territory government funded legal assistance service providers, including legal aid commissions, community legal centres, Indigenous legal assistance providers and family violence prevention legal services. It applies to data collected through regular service provision across all services and law types, as well as data collected through snapshot surveys and other mechanisms. |
